MAY PEACE BE UPON YOU

Love is its head, and its two wings are hope and fear."

Sharing Session
For once i thought that i want to update on so many things this time! hehe. Guess i'll just go one at a time. Hmm... just thought of doing some sharing session about a little knowledge that i had gained yesterday from usrah. usrah basically means family. a small group of people who come together to be involved in any kinds of interaction, be it religious, personal, political or what nots. at the end of the day, we should head home, if not more, a little wiser than before we make our way there.
So yesterday we went to the Airportf for a session. kak naz had initiated to start it off by treating us at Swensens'. Alhamdulillah.. the place is nice with all the nice lighting and nice people. hehe. Ate my all- time fave sticky chewy ice-cream again for the millionth time.. jus cant get enough of it. hehe. had a tast of every ice-cream that everyone bought. we call it 'the conveyer belt' where a round of ice-cream is passed all at the same time to the person next to us. hehe. oklah i tink i have to go back to my main objective of this post today..
One of us had presented on a topic called 'Hope'. Hope that is genuine. I cant remember who, but she mentioned of one islamic scholar that qoute something which i think is very much true. He had defined hope as wings that flies to the highest stage. and he used some methodology on heart being earth, iman being the seed and amal as earth that is being ploughed. So our heart, being the land and a basic foundation for the growth of plants needs to be of good quality in order to allow the seed to grow. So iman can only grow on a good heart. The opposite will be that the seed of iman cannot grow on a land or heart that does not have a good quality to support the growth. It is only proper to seek for His help when we had done our best to meet the condition to grow the seed.
Stupidity is how he described to a person who hopes too much of something without making any effort to struggle through it. For instance, one who follows his desire and still hopes that there is still a place for him in Paradise.
Allah has mentioned in the quran ( Al- Baqarah:216) that says, "Orang-orang yang beriman, berhijrah serta berjihad mereka itulah yang patut mengharapkan rahmat dari Allah".
I shall end off a gist of my sharing with the knowledge that i had gained. All in all, stupidity is referred to one who is hoping too much when he had not done much in serving Him perfectly.
actually kind of enjoying typing this as it helps to refresh and ingraine it firmer into my mind and make it a reminder for myself too. Hope it benefits yah. :)
